The Necota Smith, Jr. State Farm Insurance office is proud to serve Greensboro and Guilford County with Insurance and Financial Services, we love to help our local neighbors and new neighbors relocating to the Triad area.

I’m originally from Martinsville, VA. My wife and I reside in Guilford County. We raised two children who are now out on their own. We enjoy and support the community we live in. Being a part of a supportive community has always been important to me. I will always try to support local, small businesses because I fall into that category!

My career started with State Farm in Oct of 1977 as a NC underwriter in Charlottesville Va. I made the transition to become an agent in 1983, hence my phone number. My Insurance Agency has over 61 years of combined State Farm team experience. I am a graduate of West Virginia State University - BS Business Administration - Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. As a small business owner, in the region I grew up in, I am in the unique position of truly making a difference in the community I have always called home. I truly get to be a "Good Neighbor" to those that have always been my neighbor and supported me. I enjoy supporting my community with my financial and insurance knowledge to help the next generation flourish in their career path.
